You can’t really blame the “Jersey Shore” crew for raking in all the dough they can as long as their dubious fame lasts—but their bosses at MTV think they’re going too far. The cast has been ordered to curtail their number of personal appearances, especially at clubs and bars.
A source told Page Six, “MTV has told the ‘Jersey Shore’ crew they can only do two personal appearances a week, and that all of their gigs have to be approved by producers. They’ve threatened the cast that they will be fined if they flout the rules—but some don’t care and are blatantly going ahead to earn as much cash as they possibly can.”
Maybe some of the greedy guidos need to remember where they were before MTV found them—nowhere.
